Caption contest, part 2

On Monday I exhibited my first foray into the New Yorker's caption contest. Not unexpectedly, I bombed. So I segued over to Anne Taintor's website to see if the results were in on her April caption contest. Yes they were, and strangely, mine wasn't there! Here is the image, followed by my two entries  and then the finalists. What say you?
A nip or two before the washing up
never failed to bring out the stars.
Tinkerbelle, I'm not calling you again!

Thank you Pinot Fairy! Come again soon!
I traded my dreams for crap I can't even put in the dishwasher.
I just love my sippy cup!
It was that precious time of day when any cocktail was possible.

You too can troll for the droll … when you visit our extravaganza of Taintor notecards!!

Here is the image for the May contest... stay tuned.

Alas. It's too late to vote. Thanks for the tip.
