Classical music cutups

Following in the hallowed tradition of Anna Russell spoofing the story of Wagner's Ring, Victor Borge at the keyboard, and the entire oeuvre of PDQ Bach are the two uproarious funnymen of A Little Nightmare Music. Here are several of their best bits.

And if you're in the mood for the symphonic Rachmaninov, we have a highly regarded version of his Symphony No. 3.

  1. As someone with very small hands, I loved that invention of--was it Mr. Koo's?--to reach the impossible chords of Rachmaninoff. Hope to see how he handles Liszt, who is beautifully played, by the way, by Vladimir Horowitz, who had nice large hands and a fine CD set in your catalog.

  2. As a guitarist w/ small hands, I can relate. Thanks for the VH tip!
