What an eye!

These are a among a group of photos recently featured in Flavorwire that Stanley Kubrick took in 1940s New York while working for Look magazine. The collection resides at the Museum of the City of New York.

What an interesting beginning for the director of 2001: A Space Odyssey and Dr. Strangelove, both of which we have.

  1. These are incredible photos! I did not know that Kubrick was also a photographer.

  2. Fantabulous! I shall share with Dan Murano who edits the Day in Photos at the Post and who is always interested in such work.
