Fluid boundaries

Even in this "slowed-down" version with dates, this time-lapse graphic of how European nations evolved over the course of 1000 years takes some intense poring over. As JetPeter01 commented, "elkúrtuk :("
I think it's best to make it full screen and brace yourself for the ride. Still, it would be nice to have a slo-mo option.
