LOVE the feline guitarist--(can only play once, and very fast)! But "Halt! Mein buch!" delivers the message better than Ex Libris. Better have some of both!
Whoever this "Anonymous" fellow is, I am none the wiser.. but doesn't he have the most impeccable taste?? These are my choices for the finest of the selection provided!!!
However, I have NEVER in my life met a cat with this sort of temperament! Poor kitty is probably just getting her owner back for years and years of mistreatment!!
The image for 'halt! mein book' raises so many more questions than it answers. Why does the miniature gentleman look so serene in his fleeing? Is that God's hand, come to pluck a desirable tome from the bookshelf? Still.. LOVE IT!
I think they are all amazing. If I had to choose just one or two I'd go with...Her Book, and Ex LIBs. Oh and the one with the owls cause owls are just amazing creatures. Oh and L.E.S too! just all of them haha.
As I'm a fan of the macabre or the more "Gorey" side of things, I adore the guillotine-inspired plate. It's now my work computer's wallpaper. Many thanks!
Excusez-moi, Monsieur Fink, but what you have taken for a guillotine are merely stocks. Otherwise, that poor fellow would not have his head. My machine never fails!
