B. Kliban's Cats for All Seasons

You don't have to care a jot about furry felines to enjoy Bernard "Hap" Kliban's skewed pictorial humor. Kliban's Cats II: A Book of 30 Postcards portrays a bevy of fat cats in various outdoor settings, in compromising positions, and in a glorious riot of color. (I like to think that he and Edward Gorey are hanging out somewhere in the ether.) Nab your copy quickly before we sell out!

What's your favorite Kliban cartoon? I will never forget Troubadour Cat: Yeow!

  1. I am deathly afraid of rodents of any kind, so I got quite a kick out of that last one. I also want to pick up the cat in the windstorm and give him a hug, poor thing!

  2. These are adorable. Cats never get old for me, and Kliban looks like a talented cartoonist.

    1. Totally agree with you, Mr. Fink! Love the expression on the cat's face...is he looking at the Lovers' card, or The Hanged Cat?
