Enjoy your Monday!

One of Fred Astaire's favorite partners, the gorgeous Rita Hayworth started off her career in entertainment as a dancer in her Hispanic family's act. And oh how she struts her stuff in this delightful "Stayin' Alive" mashup. (Fling that hair, gal!) Here's the youtube link if you want to watch it larger. But let's's not forget her famous "Put the Blame on Mame" in Gilda, which deserves to be seen on the big screen.

  2. Totally, I needed this to start the week:) Also, good call with Grizzly Bear's new album "Shields", picked it up on the cheap @ Deadalus today. Imagine chamber pop as done by wood sprite folk singers. SOOOOO good.

  4. It's a tribute to her talent that women find her as irresistible as the guys do. Thanks to the internet, she dances forever gracefully and beautifully. And thank you for showing her again.
