This is the year to learn more about China

Happy Chinese New Year!! Celebrate the Year of the Horse, and bone up on things Chinese here.

  1. If (when) the Denver Bronchos win the Superbowl, someone will say it's the Year of the Broncho.
I, however, will be reading "Some Chinese Ghosts" a charming little collection of supernatural tales that are not intended to scare, but beguile.
Those born in the Year of the Horse are cheerful, optimistic, and good with money, so it is said.
Thank you! And Happy New Year 4712!

  2. I was born in the year of the horse. And I can confirm that the attributes you listed are indeed true! I was unaware that 2014 was another year of the horse. I hope this means that the outcomes of all my toils will be fruitful ones! :-D
